Israel National Radio's favourit English magazine program, Walter's World, will broadcast an extraordinary midweek special this Thursday 21st February at 9:00 pm Israel and 2:00 pm Eastern time.

Malcolm Hoenlein, one of the most influential Jewish leaders in the world, who has the ear of the highest echelons in the corridors of American power, gives his assessment of the new realities and challenges facing the world in general and Jews and Israel in particular.

He will talk about the influence that Iran is exercising over large parts of the world and about the prognosis after the Arab spring and much more.

Malcolm Hoenlein is without doubt the best informed Jewish leader of the Diaspora, and is received by heads of state of Muslim and African countries, even those with which Israel has no diplomatic relations.

He is, among other things, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations since June 1986. He is the founding executive director of the Greater New York Conference on Soviet Jewry and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, and sits on the boards of many decision-making communal, educational and civic organizations.

A courageous Zionist, Hoenlein made news with his statement that President Barack Obama's June 4, 2009 speech to the Arab world from Cairo dismayed many Jews with its attempt to compare the struggle of the Palestinians with Israel to the World War II Jewish Holocaust .

If you consider yourself informed about world politics and those affecting Israel, then this program will update you about the latest developments, and if not, then all the more reason why this program is for you.

Only on Walter's World on Israel National Radio Arutz 7 this Thursday at 9:00 pm Israel , that's 2:00 pm Eastern time, and archived thereafter.
