A 3-year-old toddler was brought in a private car to the Tel Sheva intersection in the Negev this morning (Sunday), unconscious after apparently being electrocuted.

An MDA crew arriving at the area evacuated the toddler to the Soroka hospital in Be'er Sheva while administering CPR. His condition is termed critical.

Yaron Barel of MDA, who arrived at the intersection first and treated the toddler, said: "Near the Tel Sheva intersection I met a private vehicle, outside of which was standing a man, about 30, holding a 3-year-old toddler who was unconscious, not breathing, and with no pulse.

"I was told that he'd been electrocuted and lost consciousness. I immediately starting administering CPR and first aid, and within a few minutes the ambulance arrived. The medical personnel in the ambulance continued the CPR on the way to the hospital."
