National Security and Foreign Affairs Ministr Tzachi Hanegbi (Likud) participated in the Haifa "Shebitarbut" cultural event on Saturday and explained his party's stance regarding the annexation of Judea and Samaria.

While the Jewish Home party supports annexing Judea and Samaria, the Likud party opposes such a step, Hanegbi explained.

"It would be a disaster," he said.

Opposition leader Isaac Herzog (Zionist Union) was also present at the Haifa event, and spoke about his party's sharp drop in support.

"You can't think about all the polls in the world. I suggest everyone calm down," Herzog said. "Yair Lapid doesn't have any answers, and he has no opinion. I think in the end I am an alternative to two 'Netanyahus,' since Lapid is right-wing, as well."

Regarding the investigation of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Herzog said, "I will replace Netanyahu at the election polls, not because he is being investigated. This investigation will cause Netanyahu to lose support, and the people will begin looking for an alternative."
