A 20-year-old Bnei Brak man was arrested on suspicion of threatening to carry out a "terror attack" during the Gay Pride Parade.

Using social media, the suspect called on friends to come with him and carry out a terror attack at the upcoming "disgusting parade" in Tel Aviv.

"Who's coming with me and wants to carry out a terror attack at the Gay Pride Parade?" the suspect wrote on Facebook.

Afterwards, he wrote, "I wrote something when I was bored, and then I erased it. Please calm down."

"An investigation has been opened, and the suspect is being interrogated by the local police," an Israel Police spokesman said.

In 2015, Yishai Shlissel murdered teenager Shira Banki during the Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade.
