Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday morning opened the weekly Cabinet meeting by discussing the terror tunnels discovered under an UNRWA school in Gaza.

"In the past few days, we discovered a Hamas terror tunnel underneath two Gaza schools," Netanyahu said. "Hamas is using schoolchildren as a human shield."

"This is an enemy whom we have been fighting for many years, and who commits double war crimes.

"Not only does he attack innocent citizens, he also uses children as a human shield.

"I have told the Foreign Ministry Director General to file an official protest with the United Nations Security Council.

"Last week I met with US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley and I thanked her for her strong words. I told her that the time has come for the UN to re-examine UNRWA's existence.

"Since the Second World War, the United Nation High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) has dealt with tens of millions of refugees. Yet, the Palestinians have their own committee, UNRWA, which publicly incites against Israelis.

"UNRWA eternalizes the Palestinian refugees' problem instead of solving it, and so we must disband UNRWA and integrate its different components into other UN commissions."
