For the past decade, Nefesh B’Nefesh has been assisting North American Jews who wish to make aliyah to Israel, and helping them with the absorption process in the Jewish State. This week the organization held an Aliya Orientation event at Times Square in Manhattan. Arutz Sheva spoke with Nefesh B’Nefesh leaders who outlined some of the questions they are asked by potential olim. According to Erez Halfon, vice chairman of Nefesh B’Nefesh, “We bring to these events mayors of cities, people who work in the government, our team, the Jewish Agency’s team, the JNF team, and we give olim all the answers they need so they know where it is that they’re going.” Marc Rosenberg, director of pre-aliyah at Nefesh B’Nefesh, told Arutz Sheva , “The biggest question for most people is about employment and finding a job. The second one is about schools for their children. There are amazing opportunities. We have a Linkedin group where you can see anywhere from 180 to 200 jobs being posted each week, and that gives people a lot of confidence in seeing what’s out there for them and their particular skill set.”
