Israel's foreign ministry says there are Jews among the wounded in the Highland Park shooting.

Six have been pronounced dead and at least two dozen wounded in the attack, which took place during a 4th of July parade in the Chicago suburb.

Police said the shooter appeared to be targeting parade-goers from the rooftop of a nearby building.
