President Isaac Herzog, in a special address to the nation, proposed a series of steps to resolve the controversy surrounding the planned judicial reforms, including a new Fundamental Law to change the status of laws, changes to the committee for appointing judges, and changes to the powers of the judicial, executive, and legislative branches to influence one another.
