A person who entered the track area at Sderot railroad station was hit by a passing train. Rescue teams and police are on the scene.

At the direction of the police, train traffic between the Ashkelon (north) and Be'er Sheva (south) stations was temporarily stopped, and the Sderot, Netivot, and Ofakim stations were temporarily closed until the end of the incident.
