The former ambassador Dr. Dror Idar criticized comments by journalist Ilana Dayan against the judicial reform.

"This is intellectual dishonesty on the part of Dayan, who turned Rotman's words into a caricature (the man is more reasoned than her) in order to understand her character as the guardian of democracy. With a camera and microphone, half the people turned into monsters. Like the Supreme Court, Dayan was never really there for the others (not just rights) , like women and LGBT people."
