Two people were moderately injured when they were swept into the water off in an unregulated stretch of beach near the Clock Square in Jaffa.

They were pulled from the water and evacuated by MDA teams to the Wolfson Hospital in Holon and Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.

Another person who was rescued was also treated on the spot and did not need to be evacuated to the hospital.
