The National Unity party denied the veracity of reports of reaching a compromise in talks at the president's house: "There are no agreements at the president's house. There is distance on all issues. One way or another, there will not be any agreements until a solution is presented to the committee for selecting judges that will ensure that there will be no politicization in the appointment of judges and the judicial system as a whole."

It was also reported: "We suggest to everyone to stop the hysterical briefings, and the attempt to lay a foundation for future accusations, and to focus on finding solutions that will preserve Israeli democracy."
