The governor of the Kherson region in Ukraine ordered the evacuation of residents living near the Nova Kakhovka Dam, saying that due to the explosion of the dam, "water will reach critical levels within five hours."

Ukraine claims that the dam was blown up by Russian forces, but Russia has denied the claims.
