The Foreign Ministry commented on the helicopter crash which claimed the life of the Israeli pilot on Thursday night, stating: "Overnight, the Israeli Consulate in New York received an update from the New Jersey State Police regarding an Israeli citizen, aged 44, who was killed when the helicopter he was piloting crashed. The incident is being handled by the Israeli Consulate in New York, and the Foreign Ministry's Department for Israelis Abroad is in contact with the family to assist it in bringing his body to Israel for burial.
