The 29th annual “A Time for Music- HASC” concert took place on Sunday evening in Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in Manhattan. The concert, which raises money for Camp HASC - a camp that serves Jewish handicapped children and teens - is often thought to be the biggest Hassidic Music concert of the year. This year’s concert was produced by Eli Gerstner, and a team of Israeli event producers and logistics team were flown in to help with the production. Musicians came from all over North America and Israel to perform for the concert. Some of the bigger names performing were Abie Rotenberg, Yaakov Shwekey, Yonatan Razel, Yaron Gershovksy, and the Piamenta family in tribute to Yossi Piamenta. The musicians come together to help raise money for the camp, and all proceeds are donated to helping the camp provide much needed relief for those who live with disabilities as well as their families.
