Oprah wins Hollywood, thrills media crackpots
Oprah wins Hollywood, thrills media crackpots

For more than a year now, the media’s been trying to unseat President Trump by craftily insinuating that he colluded with Russia to win the White House.

They’ve been at it without success, like Einstein’s definition of insanity – doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

In Trump’s case, the result remains the same, nada, no collusion, which raises the question – who you calling crazy?

That point addresses all the hoopla sparked by former Trump aide Steve Bannon who colluded with author Michael Wolff to accuse Trump of being mentally unfit for office in the book “Fire and Fury.” But before tracking Trump’s mental condition, the media may want to undergo its own psychiatric evaluation.

It appears that from the day Trump stepped off the elevator to announce his candidacy, we have all watched editors and reporters lose their minds.

I covered that in a column the other day – “Who’s Afraid of Michael Wolff? Not Trump” – but I never expected the media to still be going bananas over that book -- and still relishing, as they do, every time they can smirk and cackle at their attempt to turn our president into a laughingstock.

Instead of responsible reporting, they offer ridicule.

Over the week, nine out of 10 questions at the White House Briefing were about Trump’s fitness. That’s their OCD, not his – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

This is some crack-up on the part of the media. They’ve no tolerance for a president who is not Obama and now, after the Golden Globes -- Oprah.

Oprah’s “presidential” speech in Hollywood Sunday night set Liberals to dreaming of an Obama third term -- but as a woman.

They lapped it up from Oprah; every single cliché and platitude. Trump should be so lucky with the elites.

Most likely Trump irritates the Left because all his moves domestically and internationally are motivated by love of country.

Which was never Obama’s forte’.

If Trump is unfit as they say, he must be crazy to lower taxes, get the economy booming, and place Jerusalem in the right hands…Right?

As for me, I’ll take insanity like that any day. I like a patriotic leader, especially one so successful. I’m irrational that way.

Was Chris Matthews rational when he announced that he gets a “thrill up his leg” each time Obama speaks?

That was some time ago, but he’s still on MSNBC. He wasn’t carried off to the loony bin. This would have happened if Hannity said that about Trump.

By my reckoning, The New York Times was first to crack up…and over there they still won’t let a day go by without some mention of Trump and Russia in the same headline, even if there’s no there there…no connection, no collusion, the editors just doing it from force of habit…again and again and again. Same result.

Who are THEY calling crazy?

What about “Morning Joe” and his girlfriend – the two MSNBC lovebirds who go bonkers over everything Trump says or does?

At CNN – those people really do need to get their heads examined. Over there it’s a carnival of Trump bashing.

Get Trump on ANYTHING. The Russia thing is a failure…next; let’s try the insanity offense.
But that is just the latest trick from the media. Get Trump on ANYTHING. The Russia thing is a failure…next; let’s try the insanity offense.

Overall there’s been nothing to show, from any of them, except for an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The media find no fault in Trump except for whatever voices they hear in their heads, which is no comfort to America.

We need a media that is fair and BALANCED, which brings us to Fox News, ordinarily a sound group of people, though Shepard Smith – I don’t know about him.
