An Arab citizen of Israel was seriously injured Saturday evening when Arabs threw rocks and firebombs at him south of Hevron. The attack took place inside an Arab village near Beit Haggai, in the southern Mount Hevron area. The injured man was treated by the Red Crescent and then transferred to Magen David Adom (Red Star of David), the Israeli ambulance service. Arabs who attack vehicles with Israeli license plates usually hope to hit Jews but sometimes wind up hurting fellow Arabs who live in Israel. Arabs in the Gush Etzion area of Yehuda (Judea) and the Binyamin section of Shomron (Samaria) threw rocks Saturday at several Israeli-licensed cars. While no one was hurt, the vehicles were damaged.
