The IDF’s Paratroopers Brigade, is one of the oldest brigades in the IDF. Having been carrying out special-forces-style-missions since the 1950s, the Paratroopers Brigade forms a major part of the IDF’s Infantry Corps. Nowadays, the Paratroopers Brigade is mainly involved in counter-terror operations, such as detonating terrorists’ homes. Its reservists are among the mostly highly trained in the IDF. The Paratroopers Brigade uses the slogan: “Volunteer for the Paratroopers, the family of warriors who win!”
