In preparation for Tuesday's release of 477 jailed terrorists, the prisoners have been transferred to two locations: Ketziot Prison and HaSharon Prison. The ones at Ketziot will presumably be released into Gaza, and the ones at HaSharon will be released into Judea and Samaria. International Red Cross officials have arrived at Ketziot and begun the process of checking and identifying the prisoners, ahead of their release. Defense Minister Ehud Barak held a meeting Sunday afternoon with top military brass, in which he approved the arrangements for the exchange Tuesday of Hamas hostage Gilad Shalit for 477 jailed terrorists. "Gilad Shalit will return to his country and to his family after being held by Hamas for over five years," Barak said in the course of the session. "His homecoming will take the form of a modest reception, and the main focus will be on the needs of the soldier and his family." The meeting was attended by Chief of Staff Benny Gantz, Head of Operations Department Maj. Gen. Yaakov Ayash, Head of Personnel Branch Maj. Gen. Orna Barbivai and others, who presented the plans for Tuesday's events for Barak's approval. The plans include the transfer of the terrorists into the hands of the Palestinian Authority (PA) in several locations in Gaza, Judea and Samaria. Security arrangements were discussed, as were preparations for what were termed "potential developments" in the course of the exchange.
