An IDF soldier was murdered and nine other people have been injured in a shooting terror attack at Be'er Sheva's Central Bus Station. One of the casualties was seriously injured and four more have suffered moderate wounds. A sixth casualty is lightly wounded, according to Magen David Adom chief Eli Bin. One terrorist carried out the attack. He was armed with a handgun and knife. The terrorist shot a soldier and killed him, and then took his M-16 semiautomatic assault rifle and began firing it at a group of policemen, four of whom were injured. Another man was also shot by security forces, in the belief that he was a terrorist. However, he apparently is an Eritrean infiltrator and he may not have had anything to do with the attack. A large number of Magen David Adom paramedics and police delivered emergency first aid to victims and evacuated them to Soroka hospital. It is not clear how the armed terrorist succeeded in penetrating into the Central Bus Station, which is under heavy security.
