Commander of Central Command Roni Numa continues to issue administrative distancing orders without evidence, according to the legal defense organization Honenu. An administrative distancing order, presented by the military stationed in Judea and Samaria, limits a person's movement, under pain of imprisonment should the order be broken.

Central Command has issued a nightly house arrest order for seven months, against a resident of Samaria who is in his 20s.

The young man, who appealed to Honenu for help, has suffered administrative detention in the past, and administrative house arrest.

Several months ago, he finished his terms of nightly house arrest, and was then given a distancing order from Judea and Samaria.

On Monday, police detectives served him papers for a new administrative order which puts him under nightly house arrest for seven months in his parents home, and forbids him to contact some 40 people.

Honenu reports that Central Command - the IDF body which controls Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem, the Sharon, Gush Dan, and the Shephalah - continues to issue administrative distancing orders, some new and some extended, on residents who already live under restrictive conditions. The orders are given without engaging in any legal process or presenting evidence to support the order.

Today there are some 40 people living under administrative distancing orders, some of whom have been doing so for upwards of a year.
