MK Yehuda Glick (Likud) on Wednesday ascended the Temple Mount with his son, in honor of his son's wedding Wednesday night.

Prior to visiting the Temple Mount, Glick received special permission from Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

"I thank the Prime Minister for this gift, which is the best gift I could have received in the hours before my son's wedding," Glick said as he left the Temple Mount.

Earlier this month, Glick slammed Netanyahu's policy of allowing Knesset members to ascend the Mount on a one-time basis, and petitioned the Supreme Court to order the Prime Minister not to prevent MKs from entering the Temple Mount on Sukkot

Jewish MKs are not usually allowed to ascend the Temple Mount.
