Yet another Arab - a PLO officer - has been sentenced to death by a Palestinian Authority court. Hassan Musalem, 55, was convicted of signaling to Israeli forces the origin of Palestinian shooting onto Jewish neighborhoods. The Jewish Community of Hevron demands that Israel save him from the sentence, which was decreed to be death by firing squad. “The army must use force, if necessary,” said a spokesman. “It is inconceivable that while the PLO shoots daily upon our women and children, the Israel forces would abandon those who are loyal to their natural humane instincts.” The Palestinian Authority executed two informants for Israel last month.
