MK Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh) opened the second day of the Jerusalem Conference Tuesday with a prediction that the Bayit Yehudi would reach 20 Knesset seats in the upcoming election.

"With endless assistance from Heavens," he said, "in the last four years we concentrated efforts and labored to instill the simple understanding, that the secret of our success is in our unity – in that the religious Zionist public will appear together, in all of its hues.

"It was not easy. When unity bursts through, there are disturbances and they come from different directions. But in the end it worked! And it is succeeding! In a big way!"

"From every platform, and mostly from the Knesset podium, we repeated dozens, maybe hundreds of times, the statement that, when we unite, when we appear in a single party, we will be large.'There will be 15 Knesset seats, too,' we said. Many of our friends fidgeted in their seats in discomfort. They requested that in our press releases, the words '15 MKs' should be replaced with 'many MKs' so that we do not sound like we are exaggerators. The spirit of disunity weakened us so much that we were shamed to look at our own merits and potential."

"And now I ask – do not say 'we will reach 15 MKs' anymore. I ask that the words '15 MKs' be replaced by '20 MKs.' Let us say it! We will believe it, it will be so, and we shall be so!"
