A worker on Sunday morning fell off a ladder while working on Jerusalem's Har Herzl in preparation for Remembrance Day ceremonies, Magen David Adom reported.
MDA paramedics treated the and transferred him to nearby Shaare Zedek Hospital in moderate to serious conditions.
The victim, who is approximately 25 years old, suffered from injuries to his head and limbs, but was fully conscious and in stable condition.
MDA emergency responder Elyasaf Shaked said, "A 25-year-old man was lying partially conscious on the floor, with an injury to his head. Those who were at the scene told us he had fallen a significant distance, probably as a result of electrocution."
"We administered first aid at the scene and transferred him to Shaare Zedek Hospital in stable moderate to serious condition, and suffering injuries to his head and limbs."
United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Yossi Yashar, who was also at the scene, said, "when I arrived at the scene I found a man suffering a head injury as sell as injuries to the rest of his body."
"Witnesses told me and the other volunteers who arrived at the scene that the person had fallen off a ladder after being electrocuted while working."
