US special envoy to the Middle East, Jason Greenblatt, met Tuesday with the representative of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Yitzhak Molcho.
At the end of the meeting, Greenblatt said that Molcho "shared with me his experiences in peacemaking."
Greenblatt also arrived in Ramallah Tuesday and met with PA negotiator Saeb Erekat and two senior advisers for PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas, Majed Faraj and Muhammad Mustafa.
Greenblatt sought to persuade both sides to agree to a summit meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House, where the renewal of the process between Israel and the PA will be officially announced.
The gaps between the two sides remain large, but the US hopes that they will agree to compromise under pressure from the administration.
