In the morning hours (Sunday), a bus driver was asked to stop for a routine check at the Maccabim checkpoint in the Binyamin Brigade region.

The driver refused to be checked and stopped the bus just before it left the checkpoint. After that, he got out of it and ran away. IDF and Border Police units called a sapper to check the bus for explosives.

During the inspection of the saboteur, 30 illegal workers were found in the trunk of the bus. The suspects were arrested and transferred to the Israel Police for further processing.
