Recovery after the Iran War: GDP jumps 15.4%

The Central Bureau of Statistics publishes a preliminary estimate according to which GDP jumped in the second quarter of 2026 by 15.4% on an annualized basis, which is 3.6% compared to the previous quarter. The figure reflects a sharp recovery from the war against Iran, but may still be updated.
