A senior Iranian official threatened that Iran has decided to shift its policy from defensive to "completely offensive," Reuters reported.
The official claimed that Iran has set a deadline of several weeks for the US to fully enforce the memorandum of understanding. "All Iranian entities are ready to escalate tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and the region if diplomacy fails. Iran's timetable will be conveyed to the US through intermediary countries. Iran will not wait for the US to continue its naval blockade forever."
