The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes that targeted Abu al-Duhur Military Airport in Idlib Governorate on Tuesday. The Ministry stated that it considers these strikes a "blatant violation of the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as a clear breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations."
The Ministry reaffirmed Lebanon's "firm support for Syria's sovereignty, security and stability, and stresses Lebanon's rejection of any attack on Syrian territory. It further underscores the need to put an end to these violations and refrain from any steps that could heighten tensions and threaten regional stability."
