Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf said in an interview with Kan News on Reshet Bet that Otzma Yehudit received dozens of reports and video recordings on election day alleging irregularities at polling stations, including claims that money was distributed in exchange for votes for Ra’am.
Wasserlauf described a report received from a party activist at the Beit al-Hikma school in Rahat, according to which a sheikh and several other people were sitting outside the polling station. Ra’am envelopes containing money were reportedly seen at the scene, along with people carrying long-barreled firearms.
He said the materials were forwarded to the relevant authorities in real time, and MK Yitzhak Kroizer contacted Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Solberg regarding the matter.
