There was more rioting Sunday by Arabs near the fence separating Gaza and Israel.
Voice of Israel public radio reported that young Arabs approached the security fence near Khan Younis in the early evening, and that IDF soldiers fired warning shots in the air, as well as rubber-coated bullets toward whoever came too near to the fence.
The IDF Spokesman said that Arab claims that three of the rioters were injured are being looked into.
One Arab was reportedly killed on Friday in a similar incident along the Gaza fence.
Earlier Sunday, it was reported that Hamas had deployed police on Gaza's border with Israel over the weekend "to prevent incidents that could imperil a fresh truce."
Security forces "have been deployed along the Gaza Strip border to preserve the implementation of the truce," the spokesman for the Hamas interior ministry, Islam Shahwan, told AFP.
