Israeli Basketball star Omri Casspi of the Golden State Warriors was the face of this year's Basketball Without Borders alongside Spurs legend David Robinson. He was among the NBA & FIBA stars in attendance for the 16th annual Basketball Without Borders, held in Israel for the first time.

From Sunday, August 13th through Wednesday August 16th, the top male and female basketball players under the age of 17 from across Europe learned the ropes from the top NBA and FIBA players and coaches.

The program kicked off at the YMCA of Jerusalem with “peace players” and NBA owners and managers in attendance at the opening ceremony, where Omri spoke among others.

On day three, at the Peres Center for Peace, NBA Cares led a key activity called building bridges of understanding, which took place among campers and athletes. The five-day program concluded at the Hardar Yosef Gym in Tel Aviv with a basketball clinic led by The Omri Casspi Foundation, followed by BWB Boys and Girls All Star Games.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver traveled to Israel to be a part of the program, with Hall of Famer David Robinson headlining the list of former players taking part in the camp. Other NBA players participating at the camp include Jerryd Bayless, Sam Dekker and Norman Powell.
