Two Arab terrorists were neutralized during a stabbing attack at Tapuah Junction in central Samaria, Tuesday afternoon. Israeli security forces neutralized the two terrorists as they attempted to carry out a stabbing attack at the checkpoint, located at the intersection of Highway 5 (the Trans-Samaria Highway) and Route 60. According to a police spokesperson, Border Police officers stationed at the junction spotted the two terrorists, who drew knives as they approached the checkpoint. After the two terrorists refused orders to halt, officers opened fire on the terrorists neutralizing them. No injuries were reported among the security forces stationed at the junction. Both of the terrorists were wounded, and later taken into custody after being treated on the scene. After being placed under arrest, the two terrorists were transferred to Beilinson hospital in Petah Tikva for treatment.
