The Jewish Home Knesset faction held its weekly meeting Monday at Givat Asaf, north of Jerusalem, where two IDF soldiers were murdered by terrorists Thursday. After the faction session, Bennett said: "A few days ago, at a bus stop near the community here, Givat Asaf, a terrorist brazenly murdered two combat soldiers and the third, Netanel, is currently fighting for his life. We pray for his well being." "Half a million Israelis live in Judea and Samaria," he added. They have the right to life like any other citizen of Israel. They have the right to quality of life, like any other citizen of Israel. The same rules apply to Judea and Samaria as to Tel Aviv – and that is why we need to act." Bennett noted that the government's Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved on Sunday the bill that would make it possible to expel the relatives of terrorists from their homes to other places in Judea and Samaria. The goal of the bill, Bennett said, is that "terrorists should go back to being afraid. Terrorists nowadays find that killing Jews pays off. They get an 'exit' of 10,000 shekels a month, their homes are demolished very lackadaisically and the families are not expelled. In other words, it's a great package deal and we want to change that. That is why we fought for many hours yesterday to advance the bill." Bennett also mentioned a bill that was approved yesterday by the Ministerial Committee for Legislation, known as "The Regulation Law 2." "The second law that passed is a law that pertains to the fabric of life, which makes it possible for tens of thousands of residents here who serve in the reserves, who pay taxes, good and normative citizens, to simply receive the same services: kindergarten, day care, electricity, water – all for payment, of course, like any other Israeli citizen," he explained. "For years, this did not exist, and we shall advance this law with gusto, too," he vowed. "But this is not enough," Bennett emphasized. "The Zionist way of doing things, throughout the years, from before the founding of the state, was that when they killed Jews, we created settlements. And that is why we need to expand the community here at Givat Asaf. We spoke with the residents, we decided on the directions to take and we will bring them before the Prime Minister and Defense Minister in the coming days."
