The Judea and Samaria District Police sent an Arab policeman disguised as a Bezeq employee to the town of Bat Ayin in western Gush Etzion. Bat Ayin is a community known for the prohibition imposed by its residents on the entry of Arabs into the premises of the community for security reasons. All construction projects in the community are carried out by Jews. According to a report this morning, Sunday, in Kan News, the purpose of sending the undercover Arab police officer was apparently to provoke the locals and get right-wing activists to attack the policeman so that they could be arrested. However, the residents realized what was happening after noticing a police drone flying over the community. The police told Galei Tzahal (IDF Radio), "The Israel Police, together with the security forces, are carrying out proactive activities to enforce the law and maintain the security and safety of the area's residents."
