An attempted shooting attack took place Saturday night near Shechem (Nablus), the IDF reported.
The firing on a military post adjacent to Nablus came from a vehicle that was travelling on a nearby road.
No injuries were reported.
Following an extensive search, dozens of bullet casings were found in the area.
IDF troops are continuing to search the area.
