A school and many residential homes were evacuated in response to a forest fire in the Kiryat Menachem neighborhood of Jerusalem Thursday.
Seven firefighting crews were rushed to the scene and eventually succeeded in bringing the blaze under control.
One resident was taken to the hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation. Several homes suffered light damage.
Firefighters are currently working to extinguish the fire completely.
