US President Joe Biden on Saturday offered a video update on his health after his physician said he had tested positive for COVID-19 a second time.
“Hey folks, Joe Biden here. Tested positive this morning. Going to be working from home for the next couple days,” Biden said in the video, posted to his Twitter account, in which the President is seen next to his dog, Commander.
“And I’m feeling fine, everything’s good. But Commander and I got a little work to do,” he added.
Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, said earlier on Saturday that the President had tested positive for COVID-19 - a short time after recovering from his first bout of the virus.
O’Connor said that Biden, who took the antiviral Paxlovid, may be experiencing "rebound COVID," adding that such cases are not unheard of.
