Yuri Wolkov, an employee at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital, succumbed to his wounds after being stabbed by a motorcyclist in Holon. The stabbing took place at a crosswalk, after Wolkov and the motorcyclist became involved in a disagreement at the intersection of Eilat and Yoseftal streets in Holon Following the stabbing, the motorcycle rider escaped the scene; police are currently searching for him. Later, died of his wounds in the hospital. In a statement, Ichilov said: "Yuri Wolkov, an assistant for about 20 years in the urgent care unit (emergency room) here at Ichilov, was murdered this evening as he crossed in a crosswalk in Holon, just a few hours before he was scheduled to begin a night shift to treat [people] and save others' lives.
