
Overnight, IDF, ISA (Shin Bet) and Israel Border Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the towns of Luban e-Sharkiya, Silwad, Shuweika, Baqa, Bayt Awa and Ibiddya.
The forces operated in the towns of Surif, Teqoa and Doha, and apprehended three wanted individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activity.
During the activity in the Dheisha camp, the forces apprehended another wanted suspect. During the activity, suspects hurled explosive devices and rocks at the forces who responded with riot dispersal means.
Additionally, IDF soldiers operated in the towns of Jaba', Quatanna and Bayt Duqu, and apprehended five wanted suspects.
Furthermore, the forces apprehended three wanted suspects in the town of Dhahiriya and the city of Hebron.
In parallel, the forces operated in the town of Ni'lin and apprehended two wanted suspects.
During the operation in the Balata camp, in the city of Shechem (Nablus) in Samaria, several suspects fired at the forces who responded back with live fire, a hit was identified.
According to the Palestinian Authority WAFA outlet, one rioter in his twenties was shot in the head during clashes with Israeli security forces. The rioter is reported to be in serious condition.
IDF soldiers also operated in the towns of Ichtaba and Fahma, apprehended a wanted suspect and confiscated two hunting rifles and two airsoft handguns
The suspects were transferred to security forces for further questioning.
No IDF injuries were reported.
