Minister of Foreign Affairs Eli Cohen arrived in Kyiv, Ukraine, Thursday. During his visit, he is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. Cohen is expected to announce the reopening of the Israeli embassy in the country and the expansion of humanitarian aid to Kyiv. He will also visit the Holocaust memorial at Babi Yar and the city of Bucha, where the Russians massacred civilians. "I arrived this morning as the first Israeli minister to visit since the war broke out. Over the past year, Israel stood with Ukraine," the minister stated.
