About five hundred right-wing activists arrived this evening (Tuesday) in front of the home of Justice Minister Yariv Levin in order to encourage him and express their support for the furtherance of legal reform legislation.

This protest follows a raucous demonstration this morning in which anti-government protesters who arrived outside Levin's house in the early hours of the morning, blew horns loudly, set tires on fire and blocked the road for many hours.

The support rally was organized by the Zionist grassroots movements Tekuma 2023 and Im Tirtzu, in cooperation with other organizations that lead the judicial reform support campaign.

Well known figures including publicist and writer Rabbi Chaim Navon, attorney Ziv Maor, campaign organizer Berla Crombi, CEO of Im Tirzu Matan Peleg, Yoel Shilo and popular media personality Noam Fathi were also among the hundreds of participants in the demonstration.

The CEO of the Im Tirzu organization, Matan Peleg, said during the demonstration: "We are the people of Israel who are not ready for fifteen judges to decide for us. The whole nation of Israel stood on Mount Sinai and not just fifteen judges and those who did their word. We are the people, the people of Israel who established a glorious state here and we will not allow a group of hooligans, violent, anarchists, post-Jews and post-Zionists to take our country. We are the majority - 64 Knesset seats"

The director of the Tekuma 2023 movement, which organized the event, added: "We will not accept the violence of the anarchists on the left. The public chose reform and the public will get reform. We came here to strengthen the elected Minister of Justice of the State of Israel. We will not be silent in the face of violence. We all support Yariv Levin and we will continue to do so."
