IDF: Overnight, following activity of the “Egoz” and “Yahalom” units, IDF soldiers acting on precise ISA intelligence operated to confiscate weapons and neutralize shafts used by terrorist organizations in the Al-Anatsari Mosque in the Jenin Camp. The soldiers used advanced technological tools to investigate the terrorist infrastructure embedded inside the building.
Additionally, during the activities, dogs from the “Oketz” unit acted in the area to transmit tactical intelligence back to the maneuvering forces.
IDF International Spokesperson Lt. Col. Richard Hecht said: “Places of worship should never be used as a front for terrorist activity. This is an example of the cynical exploitation of innocent civilians by Palestinian terrorist groups operating in the Jenin Camp.”
