Seven pairs of twins, 14 babies, were born in a 24-hour period at Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem this week.
The excited mothers shared how they prepared to welcome their children into the world. One mother arrived with pink nail polish on one hand to welcome her newborn daughter, and blue nail polish on the other hand to welcome the twin brother.
Another woman described how she had waited 12 years for a child and the joy she felt at now bringing two children into the world. She stated that she chose to give birth at Shaarei Tzedek due to the hospital's expertise in handling the birth of twins.
