Two days after what they referred to as "the Day of Disruption, the Kaplan protest group, which is leading the protests against the government's judicial reform plan, launched the "Night of Resistance" to protest legislation that would limit the use of the judicial doctrine of reasonableness. The main demonstration was once again held in Tel Aviv, where protesters repeatedly clashed with police on Ayalon Highway as they tried to block the road. Some of the protesters took to the road while lighting bonfires and trying to create roadblocks. The police used mounted officers and a water cannon to evacuate them. Ayalon Highway as well as Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv were reopened to traffic just after 12:30 a.m., after about three hours. Demonstrators also blocked the Coastal Highway at the Beit Yanai Junction in both directions. In addition, marches were held in Jerusalem, momentarily blocking traffic. The Raanana and Nahalal Junctions were also blocked. At the same time, hundreds of protesters are marching to Jerusalem and are currently near the Latrun Junction. Police arrested a demonstrator for allegedly disturbing the peace during a demonstration at Sefer Square in Haifa. The protester blocked the road with her vehicle and refused to move it despite the police requests. The police wished to detain the protester, but she refused, lay down on the road, and was arrested.
