Or Sayar Winer was seriously wounded on Thursday in a stabbing in the Gilo section of Jerusalem.

Security Authorities say the estimation is growing that the stabbing was a terror attack.

The incident occurred on Hamargalit St., and MDA teams that arrived at the scene attended to the victim and took him to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in serious condition.

The victim was operated on at the hospital, which stated: "The victim is still in very severe condition, and he is sedated and on a respirator in the ICU."

The victim's uncle, Boaz Winer, told Galei Tzahal, "Or was stabbed all over his body, more than 20 times. He was on his way to his grandparents, and he was stabbed at the entrance to their building, we are certain it was a terrorist attack."

MDA Senior EMT Elad Rozmerin recounted: "The injured victim was laying near the entrance to a building conscious and suffering from a bleeding puncture wound. We administered initial medical care to stop the bleeding and applied bandages, and we took him quickly to the hospital in severe yet stable condition."

Jerusalem District Police Chief Deputy Commissioner Doron Turjeman also arrived at the scene due to the suspicion that the incident was terror-related. The police are still unsure of the background of the incident.

Law enforcement searched the area and apprehended a suspect on Hebron Rd.

The police wrote in a statement: "Two knives were found at the scene, and at this point, the circumstances of the stabbing have yet to be learned, and they are being investigated."
