The office of the National Security Minister submitted a police complaint over threats to Minster Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The complaint was submitted to a Facebook post published Saturday night with explicit threats to the minister, stating: "Someone assassinate this Ben-Gvir already. He should die a painful death. Idiot, Jewish hoodlum, criminal."
Minister Ben-Gvir responded: "Threats don't scare me, I will continue to work for Israeli citizens' security. I thank the personal security unit and the security authorities who protect me and my family.
The Attorney General, who is authorized to open investigations into these matters, must understand that the blood of the ministers and elected officials from the right isn't less red than the blood of ministers and elected officials from the left. She must order an investigation today."
