An IDF reservist got married this week wearing his IDF uniform and in the presence of his fellow reservists.
Safed Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu and the soldier's senior commander participated in the ceremony.
"It is a tremendous privilege to be present at the special moment when you are establishing a home in Israel," the commander said. "Especially during the difficult times that the Jewish people are going through, it moves us to see a couple that strengthens the roots of all of us in this land and in this nation together."
He added: "Since 1948, the Alexandroni family has been a bridge to all parts of the nation, we are brothers. The strength of our hearts is the decisive factor and with these tremendous strengths we are going to overpower and defeat anyone who dares to harm us."
"I wish you a strong relationship, great love, and a family home on behalf of all the soldiers of the Aleksanroni Brigade, the IDF, and the people of Israel," he concluded.
