The IDF has completed an extensive operation that lasted over a day to counter terrorism in the Nur Shams refugee camp in the city of Tulkarm and combined forces from IDF's elite undercover Duvdevan unit and the Border Police under the intelligence guidance of the ISA.

During the exchange of fire in the operation, the late Sergeant Maxim Razinkov fell in the line of duty. He was an undercover operator for the Israel Police.

The forces detained and interrogated dozens of suspects, of which more than 20 terrorists were arrested and 12 more were killed. The forces located and destroyed a number of explosives laboratories, revealing dozens of explosives ready for use planted along roads used b the security forces. In addition, an aircraft attacked and damaged an armed terrorist squad.

During the operation, Duvdevan soldiers located a terrorist vehicle containing several explosive charges and military equipment. The forces destroyed the vehicle.

Also, a patrol from the Haruv battalion encountered a terrorist and killed him. At the end of an exchange of fire, the forces confiscated an improvised submachine gun used by the terrorist.

Engineering forces exposed the walls of the headquarters building of the terrorist camp and prevented them from hiding there and neutralized charges that endangered the forces.

During the night, the security forces destroyed the apartment of the terrorist Khaled Sabah, who is identified as an operative in the terrorist organization Hamas and who carried out the shooting attack at the Eli gas station, in the village of Urif in Samaria, in which several Israeli civilians were murdered and others injured.

Also, many forces of the IDF, the ISA, and the Israel Defense Forces operated in many locations throughout the Judea and Samaria Division against terrorist targets tonight, arresting 60 wanted persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activities and confiscating many weapons. 40 of them are active in the terrorist organization Hamas.

So far, since the beginning of the war, 584 wanted persons have been arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria Division and the Jordan Valley, of whom over 375 are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas. Over 50 weapons were confiscated by the security forces.
